Search Engine Optimisation (SEO) is a term that is often bandied around in web design circles. Even we, at Caboodle, will throw it into conversation especially around people who may have an idea what we mean. Last week we employed Billy, as our SEO specialist & we have a seminar on the 19th July. So I though it was about time we had another 'serious' blog post. About SEO.
Bascially SEO involves looking at a website and deciding how and where to use words and phrases that will be picked up in Search Engines. It is vital for the majority of websites as Search Engines (mainly Google) is the first stop for a lot of people online. And if your site doesn't appear how will anyone find you?
It is a fundamental and on-going process and one that is not considered as seriously as it should be by many companies. And I'm not talking web design companies, but anyone that wants people to visit their website.
